  Well I have found this link which doesn't really tell you what the transporation system is like in Uruguay but it does... 64 BUT only 15 of them have paved runways.

  Maybe someone who lives there could explain why so few runways are paved....

  I was just reading about internet lines and how long it takes to get them installed. One you have to have a telephone... receive on cable television in Uruguay? Do you get all the regular American channels or is it mostly local television?...

  Exactly Princess, you make a very good point about the dumping of garbage. I would certainly rather have paper to... take millenia to break down into waste.

  In fact I'm sure some of the materials thrown in the dumps never break down....

  Well it's good to know that the risk is low but even though these other areas are further north it's still a risk...

  In my opinion it is always good to know when something is spreading so that everyone can take precautions with it....

  Yes I totally agree with you that the longer hours during the day are great. I hate it when in the winter it gets dark... get to see any sunshine.

  I like the different seasons but that part of winter is just horrid as far as I'm concerned....

  Yes I agree. It would be in extremely poor taste to call a Canadian a Yankee because we are not know as yankees... if they called us Canucks I can live with that but anything else would definitely be a slur on our country....

  Do you mind my asking how much you paid for the apartment and what size it is? Are you interested in renting it out... 4 months at a time and does it pay to have it for only that short time and leave it vacant for the rest of the time?...

  That is actually... a distinction between the 3. It's not much but when you are on a set income as seniors are it helps to get us there....
