  Well after seeing the first picture without the dumpsters I was very immpressed with the view. Is that the Rambla? Also... can certainly understand why they were taken.

  Well from what I read in other posts the shipping INTO Uruguay has a major import tax attached to it. It is something... I just can't imagine anyone having to pay a 60% tax on a birthday or christmas gift. What kind of insanity is that?

  Is this a major sport in Uruguay or is it... that they could defeat Ecuador by such a wide marjin. That's awesome. I wish them well in their future games....

  That's a very interesting question. I don't think I recall the Uruguayans participating in the Olympics at all. I could... anything so they were not recognized. If anyone knows anything about this I would be interested in hearing about it....

  Actually those prices don't sound too bad. In most cases they are much much cheaper than here in Canada. My telephone... The savings would more than cover the cost of internet I'm sure.

  Wow!! That certainly is a way to discourage people from bicycling in Uruguay when you talk about having life insurance... the surroundings more.

  However, after reading about the insurance I don't think I would ever want to try it out LOL....

  I totally agree. If I sit down in a restaurant and have to wait a half an hour to get my food I am not a happy client.... I'm in a hurry.

  And, as said above, you can always ask for 15 to 20 minutes of privacy before they serve the food....
