We have that one too.~~We use the Italian word ciao a lot on its own or doubled up ciao-ciao. Its used as goodbye but... Its used as goodbye but unlike in Italian, never as a greeting.

I only know one local person who uses adiós here....

Getting access to health care~~While there are some providers of health insurance here, most people subscribe to a... advantages even though the place no longer looks nor sounds particularly Swiss... except for the street names. :-)...

Best of luck.~~In my view, Uruguay is one of the world's most difficult places for a foreigner to start and run a new... plants springing up between km 30 and km 45 (around Colonia Wilson) it might be worth some further investigation....

I've seen ex-pat... now have two ATMs.) Its more a matter of me enjoying solitude rather than deliberate avoidance of any in-fighting :-)...

Rural reply~~I live 5 kms outside Colonia Valdense which is situated between MVD (120kms) and Colonia del Sacramento... sofa and reclining chairs available in northern Italy :-)
