Room for more~~There's always room for more... but be interesting, unique and creative... that is with respect to... disappointing.

That is part of the reason for having an iron fist about posting links (and irrelevant) stuff here....

Phone calls

Phone calls~~I avoid phone calls.. especially when language will be an issue. In general I avoid for the phone for... face to face.

If language is an issue, take along paper, pen, and possible some photos of what are you looking for....

USA Rates

USA Rates~~The USA G3 and other mobile internet rates seem to be unconscionable high.

Last I know the only Claro... limits as I recall were around 5gb.

If you actually for something you could cancel anything then that is a good sign....

Participation~~This website is for those who want to participate. It is not for people to come, drop a link and never... is Uruguay's very own buy and sell website" promoted by a Filipino and registered in Toronto, Canada?

Using Email

Using Email~~I find using email or the web to be unproductive in most cases. There are a few notable... me I had to call.

With email, I find it is generally useful only after a preestablished relationship with someone....

Coconuts

Coconuts~~The coconuts are imported... hence a poor selection and high price. The same for mangos. I gave up on mangos... priced and delicious.

So, it must have more to do with import regulations, taxes and customer demand than distance....

cardboard boxes

cardboard boxes~~A cardboard box is a sure way to get something inspected by customs! Once my ex-wife had "a lot" of... for his work.

The bottom line is probably not to take more seeds than you can lose or argue is for your own garden....

Rentals and Resdiency

Rentals and Resdiency~~This post is really about residency... it would be best to start a new one about rentals... but... they have electric wires in the floors, which is likely to be quite expensive when combined with "winter" and "warm"....

G3 Internet

G3 Internet~~You really want to try it without a contract to make sure it works where you want to use it. I think they... in Uruguay. US$50 elsewhere.

On the prepaid G3, claro charges by the continuous day. Movistar charges by the GB....

Cell Plans

Cell Plans~~You should be able to get a monthly plan with calls, messages and internet. I don't know what you mean by... some pricing.

Antel and Ancel recent changed their website so I'm not sure how easy it is to find useful information....

Smartphone...

Smartphone...~~Bring a nice one for your own use.

I might also add that a big contrast between Uruguay and Paraguay... the rest of their act together, they have Plan Cebiel to get all the kids a computer, but when they outgrow that........

paperwork and import taxes~~That is exactly the problem! Roughly 60% import taxes (including the 22% IVA). So at best,... hassled.

Plus or cell phones if you use them with Ancel you probably have to prove they were registered with Customs....

Anyway, I think... and Ken suggested that people who want to spend a few bucks for a non-relationship won't have any trouble either....

technology~~The phones are expensive twice or more what you would pay in the USA. a year ago the best deal on a VERY... year ago the best deal on a VERY BASIC non-smartphone was around US$100.A complete rip off.

Wifi is fairly abundant....
