My wife and I are considering the possibility of living in Montevideo from September 2009 to March 2010. We both speak Spanish. She would be there on a Georgetown fellowship and I would be looking for additional income to supplement the travel we would like to do. My degree is in Business. I have worked in telecommunications, project management, sales, and run my own construction business.

Cheaper Taxi rides from airport~~Here's what I have experienced in traveling to and from the airport.

Althoufh BUSES... dropping people off for the return trip.

I wonder, has anyone ever tried to negotiate a flat rate with a local taxi?...
