I created this blog to try to help people who have come from other places to live in Uruguay. I have been an expat so I understand what it is like. I would like to help make the stay easier and more fun.

Iīm an Argentine living in Montevideo. Not much of an expat as Iīm quite close to home, but Iīve been an expat in faraway and exotic places so I know what itīs all about. If I can help you, at your service.

Iīt important to remember that "pizza" in Uruguay is the "muzzarela" without cheese. Just the dough with tomato sauce.... Tony, is Italian.

For the nonspellers: Urugauy and Monte Video is Montevideo (monte-vid-day-o), real estate agents are "Inmobiliaria", and of course Uruguay is not spelled Uraguay. 2642262458
